We would like you to meet our current Pokies Country Kennel Pembrokes; past Pembrokes who have contributed to who and what we are today; and our extended Pembroke Corgi family.

Each one of our Pembrokes has the opportunity to herd cattle, sheep and ducks on our working ranch and/or have attained a herding title when age appropriate. Pedigrees with health clearances available upon request.

Cricket finished her JHD and HT titles at 9 months of age and then went on to finish her PT and HCT titles. In 2008, Cricket earned an ASCA High Combined in Trial and most promising started dog; and 2 RHIT at AHBA trials. She also earned High Combined in Trial (Sheep) at the PWCCA Nationals. Cricket is continuing her competitive herding career and following a second performance venue in Agility.

In 2008 Cricket earned a reserve winners bitch and the next day took BOB over specials earning 2 championship points. In October she earned her first major at the Boise Cluster Shows. Cricket will continue to be shown in the conformation ring on a limited basis.

Pokies Country Rosi Red Gal, HT PT HSAsdc HIAsd HXAsd STDsdc OTDsd JHD HRDIs HTDAIsd RN NAJ “Rosi”

Rosi is the youngest member of our herding Corgis. She reminds me so much of her grandmother Reba when she is working. Rosi is continuing her competitive herding career and she also has added Agility to her list of performance venues. Rosi was shown and won a Bred by Exhibitor class but Rosi’s career will be primarily in the herding arena.
